Corn-based products manufacturer Grain Processing Corp. (GPC) made three notable appointments this summer.
The company promoted laboratory supervisor Mike Kramer to senior applications scientist for the food, pharmaceutical and personal care technical services group at GPC. Prior to joining GPC in 1996, Kramer worked in product development for Kraft Foods and Unilever, where he developed products in the soups, snacks, confections, sandwiches and side dish areas.
Ben Porter joined GPC as an associate laboratory scientist in the food, pharmaceutical and personal care technical services group. Before joining the company, Porter worked for BASF Plant Science Division in Raleigh, N.C.
Rob Bohannon joined the company as a technical sales representative in the food, pharmaceutical, and personal care group, where he is responsible for the sales of MALTRIN® maltodextrins and food starch products throughout a nine-state Southeast territory. Bohannon has six years’ experience in the chemical distribution business, most recently with Brenntag USA.
