Magnolia Bakery, the New York City bakery credited with bringing cupcakes back in fashion, opened a third location in the city in Rockefeller Center. The new bakery, located in the middle of one of the city's most popular tourist attractions, offers Magnolia's full range of baked products, puddings and hot and cold beverages.

Owned by Steve and Tyra Abrams, Magnolia is known for drawing lines that wrap around the corner of its original Bleecker Street location. Signature products include buttercream iced cupcakes, red velvet cake, icebox cake and banana pudding.

“We are inundated daily with phone calls, emails and letters from around the world. Everyone, from the Upper West Side to Tokyo, wants us to open a Magnolia in their neighborhood,” Steve Abrams said in a press release. “Opening in Rockefeller Center is the fastest way to satisfy the international demand.”
