In honor of its 100th birthday, Roeser’s Bakery in Chicago is offering a “100 Days of 100 Cents” promotion–a daily deal where rotating products are available for $1.
Discounted items include red velvet cupcakes, maple bacon long johns, assorted cake bites and butter loaf coffee cake. The $1 daily special will continue through Dec. 9, and consumers are limited to two products per purchase. Roeser’s posted a calendar on its Facebook page to indicate each weekly special.
In addition to the discounted desserts, Roeser’s will also be donating 5 percent of sales on select items through Dec. 22 to five local schools that have recently experienced cuts to their athletic and arts programs: Lowell Elementary, Richard Yates Elementary, Humboldt Park Christian Academy, Stowe Elementary, and Maternity BVM Schools.
Founded in 1911, Roeser’s is Chicagoland’s oldest family-owned retail bakery.
