All five members of the Tootie Pie Co. board of directors have increased their investment in the company, according to a filing reported with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on March 26.
"We are all pleased with the direction the company is going, especially with our Tootie Pie Gourmet Cafés," David Strolle, board member and secretary, said in a press release. "We are expressing our support by increasing our individual investments in the Company."
The company recently announced the opening of its sixth Tootie Pie Gourmet Café, in Austin, Texas. Tootie Pie bakes and sells handmade pies through retail, corporate and wholesale channels.
