Panoramic imagery studio Virtual Properti.es has created a 360-degree virtual tour for Carlo’s Bakery, Hoboken, N.J., which is now live on Google search results. Similar to “street view” on Google maps, the 360-photos offer viewers a virtual tour of the bakery’s interior when they click on “look inside” icon on Google maps.
“We are so pleased with how the shoot came out for Carlo’s Bakery. It’s a great business and now it’s so easy for anyone, anywhere to tour the famous bakery without leaving their computer,” Jimmy Miño, founder and CEO of Virtual Properti.es, said in a press release. “These images aren’t just for Google search results and Google+ Pages either. You can use them right on your own website where potential customers are able to explore your business before they even arrive. It’s relatively inexpensive and only takes a few hours on location to complete, but the results are extremely powerful and polished.”
More than 100,000 businesses are already using the virtual tours, officially named “Google Business Photos,” including bakeries, cafés, restaurants and retail outlets.
